Louise Jefford – Dental Hygiene Therapist
GDC No 122216

Louise qualified as a dental nurse in 1996 and after 22 years in family based practice in West Cornwall she was inspired to pursue a change of direction.  In 2015, she successfully won a place at King’s College Hospital London to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy.  Qualifying with the diploma in June 2017, and having been awarded the GSK prize for ‘The Best Student in Child Therapy’, she then decided to return home to her Cornish roots.

Louise has a passion for Dental Hygiene and loves getting to know her patients.  She believes that treating the people she meets holistically is of great importance in helping them achieve good oral health.

In her spare time, she likes Geocaching in the Cornish countryside, collecting local art and mid-century furniture but her main love is gardening, and when she isn’t gardening she is usually visiting gardens or thinking about gardens.
