Dr Pamela Ray BDS Lond 1991, Pg Dip (Bristol), MSC Oral Surgery (Distinction)

GDC number 67378

Pam has worked as a Dentist in Cornwall since she qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in 1991. She ran her own practice for 14 years before moving on to work for the NHS as a Salaried Dentist.

Pam was awarded a Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies by the University of Bristol in 2016. During her studies there she was presented with the Laurence Oldham prize for outstanding achievement in Oral Surgery and the MarshMidda Memorial prize in Periodontology.

Pam joined Wadebridge Dental in 2019 and is enjoying working with our great team of talented clinicians and having access to modern and innovative technology. She has been continuing to study and expand her skill set and has been awarded a Masters Degree in Oral Surgery with Distinction by the University of Plymouth. This means that she can carry out Oral Surgery procedures for our patients here at the practice rather than them having to go on a long hospital waiting list and then travel to Treliske or Derriford hospital for treatment.

Wadebridge Dental are pleased to be able to offer prompt appointments, on a private basis, for patients requiring complex or surgical dental extractions.

We can see patients needing

-surgical removal of teeth, including retained roots

-extraction of upper teeth where there is an increased risk of oro-antral communication

-extraction of upper and lower third molars

Patients can be referred via the website. Consultations are free of charge

Outside of work Pam enjoys walking her two whippet dogs, reading, and playing the Cornet.
