Dr Pamela Ray BDS Lond 1991 GDC number 67378
Pam has worked in Cornwall since she qualified as a dentist in 1991.
She joined Wadebridge Dental in January 2019, having previously run her own practice in St Blazey and then worked for the Salaried Dental Service.
One of the best things Pam says about working at the practice is having a great team around her, and access to a lot of very modern and innovative technology which really helps her produce great work.
Dentistry has certainly changed since her undergraduate days, so she makes sure she keeps her proficiencies and education up to date. One of her favourite new skills is carrying out short term orthodontics which can improve her patients smiles so much with no invasive treatment.
She was awarded a Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies by the University of Bristol in 2016. During this course she was proud to be awarded the Laurence Oldham prize for outstanding achievement in Oral Surgery, and then the Marsh Midda Memorial prize for outstanding achievement in Periodontology.
She is currently studying for a Masters degree in Oral Surgery with the University of Plymouth.
When she is not not working Pam enjoy long walks with her two dogs, travelling and playing the Cornet in a local brass band.
