Jennie Forss – GDC 283631

BDS University of Plymouth

Jennie is originally from Malmesbury in Wiltshire. She studied at the University of Plymouth where she graduated with a BDS degree. She then relocated from the South West to complete her foundation training in Cardiff and enjoyed spending the year working in a large dental training facility in the Rhondda Valley, South Wales. Here she gained experience working in a community environment which became an urgent dental centre during the COVID 19 lockdown, treating many emergency patients and those requiring difficult procedures referred in from other dentists.

Jennie enjoys all aspects of dentistry, in particular working with anxious patients and making positive impacts on a patient’s general well-being. She has loved taking a team-based approach and felt this provided the most holistic and caring experience, something made possible by working alongside a variety of clinicians in Wadebridge.

She is keen to focus on expanding her knowledge and skills and has started a certificate in periodontal surgery with the PerioAcademy, aiming to provide further options for patients with unresolving gum disease.

Spending a year during her undergraduate studies in the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro, has led to a desire to return to the Cornish lifestyle. She loves spending time exploring the coastline and taking part in water sports such as stand up paddle-boarding and is now learning to surf.  She is also an avid skier and has centred her passion for travelling around this hobby.
